Last night was a mixture of good and bad fortune for me. I played a game of bingo and won £50 then it was time to take the bus home. Unfortunately, a drunk woman got on the bus. Judging by her slurred speech and the way she was acting I guess she had had far too much. She got on the bus on the sole basis that she knew the driver and got on with a glass of fruit juice in her hand. The driver said she couldn't take that drink on the bus with her so she emptied the drink out onto the pavement outside before being told that she couldn't take the glass on the bus with her so she threw that onto the pavement and smashed it! The bus took off with her causing a lot of unease. The driver told her to take a seat and she first sat on my lap before getting up and sitting on a woman's handbag. After she got up again the driver again told her to take a seat to which she replied 'they won't let me sit down!' In the end the driver threw her off the bus but even then she tried to walk off the bus with somebody's bag because she thought it was hers! Everybody seemed much more at ease for the rest of the journey afterwards.

I've got a boyfriend! yay! He's gorgeous I'm not alone anymore ^^ Thankyou Graham for a fantastic Hubris, I'm really liking "murder on the dashboard" I have a slight sympathetic feeling towards Motormaster which has never happened before. PLUS I have completed one assesment for my maths course, so will get the marks from that soon.

A boyfriend? Well that's more than most of us on the Hub have. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed Hubris and like "Murder on the Dashboard". Poor Motormaster, eh?

More drama in my happened today. For the past week me and my brother have been clearing all of the furniture out of my sisters flat because her boyfriend is going over to his native India for the Christmas holiday and she doesn't want to stay in the flat on her own so she's moving back into our fathers house and then when her boyfriend comes back in the new year they're going to get another more bigger flat. Today, we moved the last of the furniture out of the flat around to our fathers house (it seems that not only does her boyfriend not want to lift a finger to help us but he also doesn't want to keep any of his own furniture around at his sisters house where he's temporarily staying) and when it came to moving the TV my brother dropped it and broke it! My sister was quite gutted at this because it was a 32 inch Sony TV (she only paid about £75 for it from a second hand shop but that wasn't the point apparently). She's now saying that she can't trust her own family to do anything at all even though we moved every other bit of furniture out of the flat with no problem whatsoever (and no help from her boyfriend).

Blimey Zudo!
Congrats, Karla, babies next!!!!!
Took Piglet to see Bod the Builder Live yesterday, SHE LOVED IT!!! Spent the whole time watching in wide eyed amazement! She was absolutely cream-crackered afterwards. Not even me and Mrs Shockprowl singing Fleetwood Mac hits on the way home kept her awake!
Having apologised for lack of ebay-awareness on another thread (sorry phil sorry phil sorry phil), I gotta tell ya, I'm not going to make a habit of selling on ebay! Ebay and paypal charge a mint, boxing and posting stuff is a major ball-ache (he he he, I love the expression 'ball-ache'!), although I have a very happy Mrs Shockprowl at the mo 'cos I got rid of so much stuff!
But I am sorry I didn't mention it here. I think I thought of it, and then forgot to do it. Only a small brain, mine, and lots going around in it.

oooooh I'm sorry to hear that Zudo, but maybe she just misses her man friend. Congrats, Karla, babies next!!!!! NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU your the first person to mention, may you be the last Hi 5 Karla! How is the hand doing btw? The hand feels a little stronger, but it gets cold really easily, I feel it through the bone and its not comfortable. I made myself some mittens and they mostly work, but still feel the chills. Movement wise its half a fist, though when I go to pick something up the fingers cross over each other and its rather annoying. Plus, I got a little excited when I saw Bombshells name in dashboard murder

Finally had a chance to experiment this evening with a chocolate cake recipe that I obtained from my mother. Now this is no ordinary chocolate cake, as it is made without the need to use any eggs - which means that unlike most cakes I can actually eat it.
I think I may need to experiment a little bit more with timings, and possibly amend the quantites to correspond with the numbers of me that there are, but in terms of flavour and texture the first attempt worked out rather well, which means I have chocolate cake for my pudding tomorrow evening - something I shall rather look forward to.

Bit of a nothing weekend, really. Had a strange 1-day bug yesterday. Today just pottered around without achieving anything. Ah, well.

Work was mental this weekend, coupled with the ongoing work thing was the demand for the boxing and some system issues. Watched the boxing last night in company. Genuinely excited during it and it's the first heavyweight boxing match I've bothered with in years.
Lazy evening tonight, listened to the House to Astonish podcast, they name checked me and answered a question and showed much love to Geoff Senior and Marvel UK Transformers. Started reading Interference Book Two and that's about it.

My sisters now broken TV is going up to the tip today. The name of the TV was a Sony Trinitron and I remember a classic advert for it that was shown in the nineties of a man falling through the sky in an armchair only to discover at the end that it was just the TV he was watching. The end slogan was 'be careful what you watch.' The advert isn't on Youtube when I looked for it but to my amazement I did find an 80's advert for an older model of the Sony Trinitron TV which I remember clearly but for about 25 years I couldn't remember what the advert was advertising! The wonders of Youtube never cease to amaze me!
