You know those fun little details that Wildman used to put in his art, like milk bottles outside Metroplex? Here's something similar, which you might already know about if you have the US direct editions of the last few Marvel issues. Explanation here, pictures here.

Some of the original Marvel covers stand out as the best covers that have ever been made for TF comics. They have far more life and energy in them than anything that IDW have ever come up with.

They have far more life and energy in them than anything that IDW have ever come up with. I'd say some of the reprint covers half more life and energy in them - the Bruce Campbell-esque Carwash of Doom cover, for example. Though when I think about it, all those covers that I like better are done by Nick Roche. So IDW can do better covers as long as Nick Roche draws them all.
