That does look a little large.... not even a Burnsian posting rate produces that much that quickly.

The thorn was what was causing all the trouble, not glass as we first thought.

I've just caught my son throwing £20 notes out of a first floor window !
he'd got hold of the TARDIS money box liz keeps the savings in, undone the bottom, fished them out and was chucking them out one by one.

Where do you live, Phil? Hope that they were all successfully recovered!

The sig is something I said to a Guardian reporter at Transforce 2001 that ended up in the paper. Thankfully the photos they took of me demo'ing Armada Megatron's "special feature" didn't.

Well, back home again after the unexpected second trip to Bristol in a fortnight. Dad's on the mend and can do stuff now that he couldn't on Friday. Still need to ensure they have a neighbour with house keys on standby in case of emergency when I'm in Scotland in a week's time.
My thoughts tomorrow are with Ralph as he regenerates into his new life...

I have an ill toddler who has gone to bed not wanting any dinner. He's floppy, hot and could hardly keep his eyes open :-(

Glad to hear you dad's on the mend, as it were, Martin. Positive thoughts for your parents!
My parents are moving house at the end of this week, and with my step-dad still recovering from his recent surgery, I shall be on hand for heavy lifting.

Thoughts are with your dad as he recovers.
Shame you have to miss Scotcon again G but family comes first. Hope you don't injure yourself doing the heavy lifting.

Andy - glad to hear that things are finally settled for you. At least the uncertainty is finally at an end. And Martin, it is good to hear that your father is recovering.
I seem to have spent this weekend mostly pottering about. I have managed to acheive a few things but not quite everything I wanted to. Still need to get some train tickets booked for a forthcoming trip away, but the revised East Coast site is not functioning properly at the moment it would seem. Ah well, still got time to come back to it in due course.
