I'd like to add RedHotComics to the list.
Ordered Transformers Ongoing #2 on 23rd of December, arrived December 24th.

I ordered Ongoing #2 from that Ace Comics store and that was duly received just two days after I placed the order. I used to go up Leicester to my local Forbidden Planet to pick up my staple of TF comics but now I find it easier and cheaper to order through the net - mainly off Ebay.

A 90 minute round trip to the sorting office revealed that Royal Mail have lost my recorded delivery comics order. After the Amazon debacle I am beginning to despair at being able to get comics and books delivered. FFS!

Ebay have this 'ebay plus' promotion where you earn points for money off purchases. The last few few months were double points on anything. So today I got to redeem my voucher when buying comics...a whole 92p off. Yeah, that's a promotion that will get people to spend uber money!

Weird. I had TF vs GI Joe #10 from them last week with no trouble.
Back to Reed Comics then I suppose... Pity, Disposable Heroes were incredibly cheap.

Yeah, I got a comic I ordered on the 31st December with no issues, but after that everything on their Ebay store went.
Shame, they were good to use especially for getting variants.

Andy A business going down is one thing and sad, but going down and then vanishing and not contacting your out of pocket customers is totally another!!!

You misread my post Matt. I wasn't absolving them of any guilt in the way they've dealt with what has happened (not that we know what has happened exactly) simply that it's a shame they've gone, as I'd had no issues with them and they were one of my go to retailers.

Oh no! They were my go-to online place before I cut down my pamphlet buying and got a job nearer to Orbital. I almost ordered some comics from them a couple of weeks ago when I realised I might not make it to the store for a while. A shame they go out so gracelessly though; their customer service used to be good.

No worries.
I'm lucky, I ordered the comic and only after I did, did I happen to learn of the ongoing shitstorm. So while it was going on some stuff was getting out. My guess is anything not already paid for was seized and returned. Hence why some things got through and others didn't.

If they fell behind on their Diamond payments then Diamond would stop their deliveries until they got back under their agreed credit limit.

That makes more sense.
I keep forgetting about the way the Direct Market works.
