Thread for dicussing how a group of characters appeared then just disappeared for a while.
To make this thread compareable to the UK & US Marvel line - i'm just sticking to Marvel US issue appearences.

1. The Constructicons.
first appear #10 {Uk #36}- we next see them in #19 {#70}where Shockwave states he found them. But where did Bob expect them to have been [the only place they could have been is in the Fortress base] {but they did show up in the Uk #48-50,61-64}

It's the only place they could have been for that long - but looking over the issues you never see anything saying it could be so.
SUre it was really down to hasbro saying - you got to have these new toys in - then get a move on & get these toys in.
Also just noticed Mike had Sunstreaker show up in #44.

What about the Road Jammers? US #45 I think. They had devices that could control Transformers. The end of the episode eluded that they would be back... but never returned.

Where did Whirl go between Target:2006 and Time Wars? Did he show up in City of Fear? He was sensible enough to get a note from his mum so he didn't have to get casually dismembered by Galvatron, anyway.

I think the Road-Jammers returned in one of Phil Birkett's Continued Earthforce comics.
As for the Constructicons, they could well have just been blending in in their disguise modes, learning about life on Earth, etc.
