If it's too hot to go out and about this weekend, I'm tempted to pay for a month of Amazon Prime and binge-watch The Boys season 3 rather than wait for the Blu-ray.

But it would be as well as eventually buying the Blu-ray, not instead of.

Mad God- Stop Motion (mostly) horror film made over a thirty year period. Dialogue free and pure disturbing horror/SF visuals. Bosch meets Heavy Metal and I'll probably rewatch it soon because I'm sure there was some stuff I missed.

Turn A Gundam - working my way through the Blu-ray boxed sets as a result of snagging them in the AlltheAnime sale at Christmas. Just passed the halfway mark and I am genuinely rather liking it. Probably got the highest percentage of likeable characters of any of the Gundam shows - and it certainly has the only protagonist pilot who I can genuinely say I'd be happy to just hang out with. Loren Cehak comes across as basically just being a nice young bloke trying really hard to stop anyone getting hurt. He has doubts and fears, but he isn't a traumatised shell like Amuro, and he doesn't have the rage issues that Kamille Bidan struggles with for so much of Zeta. Loren is just an ok guy. (I'm also impressed with how much genuine characterisation the female characters get in this show, there is a range and a depth to them that some of the Universal Century shows in particular struggled with.). I may have had to wait a bit over twenty years to see Turn A but it was worth hanging on for.

Was surprised to see Lightyear on Disney Plus already so watched it this evening. For a film that has no reason to exist, I quite enjoyed it.

Missed the start when I saw it at cinema, just watched it now and I had missed more than I thought.
I enjoyed it, but also have no strong feelings about it.
