Dear God I need a cup of coffee full caf' in the morning, especially on early whirlies. Frak me. But, if I drink it after, say, mid morning, it gives me headache. I think it dehydrates the brain or something.

Don't usually have a problem getting Decaff in Costa or Cafe Nero, although I do have to specify it when I give my order. I do remember it being an issue sometimes in the Burger though. whether that was due to them blowing through their supplies quickly because of high demand I don't know.
I must admit that since I first reduced my caffine intake a while back I have found that my systems sensitivity to it has definitely increased. I still drink a bit of pepsi or coke, but the time before last I was at the cinema I had two Pepsi's in Pizza Hut followed by one of the bottles of citrus coke during the film. I certainly felt the effects of that, and they were not ideal. I've taken to keeping within clear limits for my intake - means I am drinking more flavoured waters this summer than I am coke and the like.
Usually my only non-decaff coffee in a day I have one will be up at the Falkirk Wheel - and I mitigate that against the fact that it takes an hour for me to drink it, smoothing out the curve somewhat.

Couple of teas first thing in the morning and that's it for me. Mint or Camomile tea after that.

For a few weeks now I have had a secret addiction to Sainsburgeries 'Taste the Difference' chunky belgium chocolate shortbread, which comes in packs of slabs of four. I must eat two at a time. Now the swines have put it on special offer. I shall become a balloon!!!

My mind is going "Andu has bought the wrong sort of Chicken Dippers and is forcing Burns to eat them under competitive conditions, possibly involving potato juice". would I be right?

My mind is going "Andu has bought the wrong sort of Chicken Dippers and is forcing Burns to eat them under competitive conditions, possibly involving potato juice". would I be right? No. I did however purchase the wrong ones yesterday as some bastard had put a pack of breaded ones in the battered section, and I did not check the packet until I got home. Was raging, Andy

I have discovered that there is such a thing as Caffine-free Diet Coke. This is a wonderful thing to discover - it means I can actually have a fizzy soft drink when I get in mid-evening from Uni without compromising my ability to sleep. It also means it is something I can potentially use as a mixer for Potato Juice without worrying about my Caffine intake getting out of hand.

It is, however, very hard to find. Caffeine free Pepsi is even more elusive.

Ah there are no Morrisons within easy reach of me. Tesco stopped selling it, Sainsburgeries only get it in intermittently, Asda never has it and I can find only one corner shop which stocks cans of about half an hour's walk away!
