I loved this as a nipper and was most unhappy when it was discontinued. I almost fell over in shock to find it in a freezer cabinet while browsing earlier. Naturally I bought one. Brilliant.

Yep. Hasn't been seen for years though there are knock-off versions.
I had a bit after dinner. It was as grand as I remember.

Yay for arctic roll, Better than roast troll! So very yummy and does not hurt a tooth, Better than that weedy bastard Longtooth!

I don't want to sound like a dunce But should you eat it all at once. Maybe I should get one this weekend But on my finances that does depend

I eat it in several slices, Before it is gobbled by mices! The sponge is particularly nice, If only I could eat it twice!

Perhaps I should have warned Huffer, He ate so much he hit the buffer! Now he has a rather sore tummy, And can't fight metal bats with Kup on Planet Panwummy!

You made up Panwummy to save face, I'm sure that isn't a real place.

It is indeed a real place, It exists in outer space! It is where the Harhargurnarnarrrs live, Porridge is their favourite gift to give!

I never speak a falsehood for fear of being burgled by a crook, This frightens me even more than dreams about Constructicon Hook! If only I had enough jammy goodness, I could retire to Loch Ness!

But in the post it would be turned to dust after many a pound, Unless disguised with helpful holograms from Hound! Maybe Arctic Roll is best kept for the Autobots, To stop them from getting nasty oil clots!

Perhaps you should try an ASDA, Where I bought it and not from Uganda! Mine is sadly all finished up, To get some more I must ask Kup!

I dont have an ASDA near me, So no arctic roll for my tea. Thats why I've no Crasher and Big Daddy And that makes me saddy To own them would be pure glee.

Perhaps some hard drugs would help, Though nothing more severe than stewed kelp! One day you will have a Big Daddy, So no need to throw a maddy!

why no curry thread ? Haven't had a good curry this year yet. Unfortunately, the local Indian takeaway is in bandit country and after the trouble I got into last time walking there I decided rather firmly it was a no-go area. I'd like to not get my head caved in. Supermarket ready-meal curries are ok sometimes but don't really cut it compared to a well-prepared fresh curry. Yum! -Ralph I've recently been enjoying my local takeaway's Chicken Tikka Dansak, done medium. Superb. A Goan Green curry is also most welcome

I had a most EXCEPTIONAL crispy shredded chilli beef last Thursday.
I could actually taste the beef's texture. The sauce and batter were light.
So many places can't make this dish.
If I'm trying a new chinese takeaway, my benchmark is always the chicken chow mein.
The quality of chinese takeaways in Southampton is awful. Around here the chippie is definately king. The chippie near me does massive portions of fish and chips.
