There are a couple of nominations for Transformers in the US toy industry's Toy of the Year awards, with the winners to be announced at the New York Toy Fair. Transformers is nominated in the Property of the Year category, whilst Devastator is nominated for Boy Toy of the Year. www.toyawards.org/ |

Proof if needed that Americans think big is better. But who knows maybe for kids it really is a lot of fun. I have to admit seeing it out of the box at Botcon I did wantto play with it.

The awards are nominated by the industry, so Dev must be doing something right. I actually like the toy, but it's overpriced for what it is.
