Always nice to see someone trying to make money out of non-profit fanzines.
Assclown.

Bell end. Compare that to Ken, who mailed me a few Lost Chronicles which I won off eBay, and also throwing in some issues I didn't have. Ken rules!

On a general note, I don't object to fanzines being re-sold. Once someone has bought something they are entitled to do whatever they want with it. If they want to sell it, then fine. No different than selling anything else once bought, ie official comics, etc.
Now fanzines are produced on a not-for-profit nature, yes, but there can be no control over where they end up. The only solution is not to print them at all and have them purely as on-line material. Fanzines already exist in a grey area anyway, as they use other people's intellectual copyright.
I've been involved with a few fanzines to the extent of paying some of the printing costs, later to see some of them later turn up on ebay. Didn't bother me at all.

I agree with Ralph from a legal point of view, but consider it very bad manners. It would conflict with my own personal code of ethics to make money out of something produced by people for fun on an amateur not-for-profit basis.

I must admit I think I'd feel quite chuffed if I found out folks on eBay were willing to pay for something I'd had a hand in producing, perhaps because it meant word of mouth had been good enough from the initial run to make others who missed it at the time want to get hold of it. That's just me, I guess.

Well then one of the fanzines you pitched in for did once end up on the ebay. Rejoice, or something.
