Well done to Jonathan!
Week sullied by lurgy, decent ending with an away day training. Cocked one task but managed a decent fist on the rest. Fingers crossed I'll be up for a run tomorrow and some relaxation as I read and draw and chill all weekend.

I've so far had two days of work at my new workplace but unfortunately the agency has not got into contact with me regarding if I will be needed there next week. When I asked them on Thursday they refused to confirm about next weeks work but did say that they would let me know. They didn't bother getting into contact with me on Friday and the agency doesn't work during weekends so the earliest I will know if I will be needed at work on Monday is --- Monday!
My only option therefore is to blindly turn up for work on Monday and see if I will be needed knowing that there is a chance I will be sent back home. This is starting to annoy me now as I don't mind being told that I won't be needed on some days but the complete lack of communication from the agency is leaving me totally in the dark about the whole thing.

Ugh, that's crap Zudo! Best of luck!
Had a very nice time at the Exeter Comic Con today! Spent way more on comics than I was planning (I wasn't planning on spending anything!).
Is anyone going to the Bristol one in May?

As if the agency isn't screwing me around I've also got the dole office doing the same. They should have paid me yesterday for the previous fortnight but as of the time of writing they are still yet to do so. As it stands at the moment I've got almost no money left until the dole office pays up and if they don't do it by tomorrow afternoon then I'm having a few words with them on Monday. The laugh is that they scrapped the good old-fashioned Giro in the post which was always guaranteed to come on Friday morning and they've replaced it with the money put straight into the bank method which is hopelessly unreliable and some of the time I don't even receive it by Sunday afternoon!

I am a happy man. At last, after 25 years, we're getting a Straxus toy! I look forward to another 25 years hence when Scrounge finally comes out.

Just received a text message from the job agency saying that I won't be needed into work tomorrow. At this rate it won't be wise for me to sign off the dole because the job will be paying less than the dole money I currently receive.

All this week I've been collecting the Marvel Top Trumps cards out of the Daily Mirror and today I came across my first hurdle in collecting them. I got up this morning, picked up todays paper but couldn't find them. I looked all over the house for todays cards but all I could find were newspapers and magazines dating from last week and leaflets that had been either stuffed in newspapers and magazines in the past fortnight. Where were they? Then I realised. My father has an annoying habit of throwing away something out the current days paper that somebody in the house is collecting but leaving every other bit of rubbish from the past fortnight. I scoured through the kitchen bin and lo and behold they were there! I don't normally pick stuff out of bins but I did so today. Marvel Top Trumps cards do not belong in the bin!
