He does indeed. His tomb should have a revolving door for easy access.

That's quite brutal looking actually. Now he knows how Time Wars Galvatron felt.
Is that G1 Prime? I can see something like a wing on that second frame?

It's Action Master Prime. As for the wing, it's not actually a wing and the next page shows you exactly what it is.
For some reason I have something of a penchant for doing TF's with half their faces blown off - probably because of Time Wars Galvatron!

Just had a chance to have a look at these. I do like the Prime with his head half-shattered - it's quite a nice image, and you've picked quite a good angle on it - making it central to the image without making it look like you are trying to make it look central. If you see what I mean.

Thanks Karl. I didn't have much of an idea of what I was doing when I started the page and then it slowly came to me. I'm especially happy with how it fits into the next page. Though for pacing I will probably add a page in before that first one to make it flow better.
Glad you liked it.

Ah! So it was all a dream, and Hot Rod is horrified that Prime is crucified not on a Christ-like cross but as if he was beginning to dance "YMCA". Martin

Very nice there Andy. I particularly like the depiction of Kup in the last panel and Rodimus Prime in panel 2 on the second page. Great stuff.

That looks great. Is this a work in progress then Andy, or just a muckabout?

Very nice there Andy. I particularly like the depiction of Kup in the last panel and Rodimus Prime in panel 2 on the second page. Great stuff. Thanks. That pic of Hot Rod was an absolute bitch to do, it took something like three attempts to get right. Later today I'll upload my rough pencil version of the page so you can see how it started. I'm quite chuffed with the Kup pic as well. I'm now scared to ink it in case I arse it up! Andy

I kid, I kid.
Some good sequential there.

Love the first page, but I think the second page is even better. Some really nice detail in there. I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going, and knowing that it isin't all predetermined makes it even more interesting.

I did the second page a4 as well but it wasn't looking as good so I went to A3 and it definitely helped. Thanks for the kind words. I have a vague idea in my head where to take the story but for the actual specifics I'll just see what happens. Although Ralph (despite claiming he was done with fanfic) emailed me to suggest a rather unique direction of telling the story. Andy

You really should post some of your sketches to IDW. I think they would be proud of them.

"Welease Wavage." "Welease Wunabout." "Welease Wodimus." "Actually, we do have a Rodimus."
"I'm Prime." "I'm Prime!" "No, I'm Prime!"
Jolly nice Kup, there.

Thanks guys.
Glad you liked Kup I was very chuffed with the way he came out. I was originally also going to have Swoop in the panel but I thought it made it too cramped.

Excellent! I like the guilty/nervous sideways eyeballs as he wastes a poor Decepticon chump off-screen. I also like the windscreen wipers on the truck windows, which make it look like the truck face is clenching its eyes tight shut as he pulls the trigger.
Whatever it lacks, your Prime has personality.
