W-w-w-wow.
As much as I want to support fan works, that really did not impress me. Especially the comic strip and the hippy Quintesson, which was a funny idea for one panel, not for a whole strip. Wow.

I am saddened that Michael Bell thinks that we don't remember Bogart or Robert Mitchum. What makes it more tragic is that in a lot of cases I fear he may be correct.

It still amazes me that a club aimed at collectors (and all the must be mint attitude that entails) has so far felt wrapping there members in a newspaper was adequete. On the plus side I just missed out on this issue when I renewed so I get 7 issues this year. The hippy Quint is one of the better characters FP have come up with so far. Shattered Glass again, so far the only thing they're really got a grip off. Andy

Lots of in jokes in the artwork - buy your allsparks here.
How much does that Cybertron toy remind me so much of rotorstorm.

But its too late now. I've thought about the alternative.

I'd forgotten how much (non-US) membership was. $89? Yikes!

Script for the comic didn't feel professional level to me, and it should do considering how expensive the membership is to read it. Fanfic level doesn't cut it at that price.
I do, however, appreciate an issue being put up as a free sampler.

The toys got to be around half that cost and postage at least $5-10. The magazine probably only has a $1-2 budget. The insane international postage obviously skewers things from our perspective. Andy

Absolutely! In the US it is an absolute bargain, just if you don't that it gets insane.

Does IDW still collect these Fun Publications comics as they did with "Balancing Act"?

Did you have your member wrapped in newspaper at the time?
