Oh wow, they finally sorted out the rights issues did they? Yup, see the links at the top of the thread. I'll wait for the trade.

It's just Marvel taking the piss. We've got Marvelman! We're release the stuff people actually want over four years later and then in dribs and drabs monthly. Arsemonkeys.

To be fair, the 'releasing 4 years later' is more due to all the sorting out of the tangled rights, as the rights to Marvelman did not necessarily include the Moore/Gaiman stuff that is what people are interested in

Marvel knew full well what people were interested in when they announced they had Marvelman!

Yes, but Marvelman's rights are notoriously complicated, and I dare say more complicated than was first thought.
It's out now and I am glad. The trades will be ordered as and when.
That and Zenith were two of my long-standing out of print requests, add to that the Valentino GOTG getting a printing and I am pretty sure that all I am waiting on is that collection of Marvel UK Zoids material and that's me happy!

So Miracleman Issue 1 came out. Didn't buy a physical copy as I will get the trade so to Comixology for me. A decent package all in, I understand Garry Leach was signing copies at Orbital so I expect James Wilson had a pretty busy day at work. Wasn't a fan of Joe Q's cover art, the recolour job on the interiors was pretty well done and yes Alan Moore is credited simply as The Original Writer. Made me chuckle a bit. Andy Was pretty busy, but I hid out back in the office doing orders, so didn't have to deal with the public. The Joe Q cover is terrible, Garry's one looks much better. That and Zenith were two of my long-standing out of print requests, add to that the Valentino GOTG getting a printing and I am pretty sure that all I am waiting on is that collection of Marvel UK Zoids material and that's me happy! Andy I know a guy who's been trying to reprint that Zoids stuff for ages, but couldn't find a publisher, which is a shame. Maybe a job for Kickstarter if he can get the rights himself.

It doesn't seem exactly "priced to sell" does it?

And nearly £18 for a HC 4 issue trade? 128 pages, it must be more than that!!!

61 in the first issue according to comixology.
3 more at the standard 22 pages per issue would make that page count right.
So an effectively tripple sized first issue.
But still £18 for effectively 6 issues

I will keep the faith, given that we are heading towards The End Times anyway, this is bound to happen just before it all goes tango ultra. This and that He-Man film.
