Available via the usual shady channels. 2 minutes into it and it's ALREADY killer. Great stuff!!! EDIT: Perceptor's voice, hahahahahahahahaha!!!! EDIT 2: And could those POSSIBLY be the almighty Rock Lords?

That was deadly. Plenty of action, great characterisation in Ratchet and Sari, and captivating throughout.
And SO. MANY. CAMEOS.
Such fun trying to spot them all, it was top notch.
Really breaking my heart that this is the last series, utter lunacy in my opinion.

Excellent start to the new series, overall. I really hope they can do something meaningful with the whole Sari being part Cybertronian thing. Really fun cameos throughout. Seeing Brawn and Cyclonus made me very happy. The Autobots Cybertron base being Metroplex was a nice touch too. Also good to see more on Ratchet's past. I hope they shed some light on Prowl in S3 though.
Oh, and big monster ROCK LORDS!
The initial battle with Rodimus and his gang (Brawn, Hotshot, Ironhide and Red Alert) was extremely well handled. Seeing Ironhide's power in action again is fun, especially in a combat situation. Brawn's strength is readily apparent from the get-go thankfully and Hot Shot...well...Hot Shot did have a fire-arm thingy....then jumped around and had his leg blown off? Excellent?
The Decepticons from the opening Battle (Strika, Cyclonus, Spittor and Oil Slick- finally we can see Oil Slick in action) were just as fun and brutal as one would expect. The sheer size of the Decepticons compared to their Autobot counterparts is impressive. It was good to see Blackout's EMP-style powers in action as well as Oil Slick's 'Cosmic Rust'. I nearly geeked out.
I'm not a big fan of Perceptor's voice. Maybe 'cause I was hoping for a snooty English accent. The Steven Hawking style robot voice just takes away any character from the...um...character!
They HAVE to release all of the toys!
I'm going to watch this again right now!

Damn that was a good way to kick off S3.
Rodimus was cool. I really want a toy of him.

Lots of great little nods and easter eggs throughout that didn't interfere with the story. Metroplex being the main Autobot City was a massive geek-out moment for me. Seeing Rodimus and his unit at the start was very impressive.
Glad to see Ratchet being front and centre of attention, always welcome with me.
Rock Lords in Space - dammit if I don't want to see more of them.
Bumblebee is still a bit annoying though.
Blurr's fate was well handled and remarkably callous and offhand for a kids show.
All in all, a kick-ass season opener and can't wait to see how things unfold.

I caught this when over at Nick's earlier, not having watched any Animated since about 10 episodes into season 1. Er, um, ah, well. Sorry guys, but it bored me shitless and I'm at a loss to be positive about it. Sorry, gave it a go anyway. I'll pass on seeing any more episodes but I hope those of you who dig it continue to enjoy the show!

Did anyone else notice what looked like a Matrix design/insignia on Sari's chest?

The way that the Autobots interacted with Omega Supreme reminded me of how the Autobots interacted with Unicron in the Movie. There was the part where Optimus was fighting off the inner arms of Omega Supreme like what Arcee and co did inside Unicron and the Autobots trying to get open the door in Omega Supreme's leg like what the Dinobots were doing to Unicron.

I'm with Ralph. Wasn't planning to see this, but I'm on leave so what the heck. Found it pretty boring. Main thoughts: - No new ideas - nothing that hasn't been done in TFs before. - No emotional weight - although thankfully not a dysfunctional crew like in BW/BM, the characters are all attitude and one-liners - can't really engage/sympathise with the humans as real people, as I could with humans in the Marvel comics, Masterforce and the live-action movie. - Too action-dense. - Shallow cameos trying to bribe my allegiance. It may be well-produced, but without new ideas and convincing characters it's style over substance, I'm afraid. Martin

There's room for another name in that speech bubble!!
Just kidding, it's not going to be everyone's taste but it's a bright and breezy show and I find it quite engaging.

Happy if people are happy, but I kind of think it's a shame that so much effort and expense has gone into telling nothing new about TFs.
Still, if the audience is made up of newbies and nostalgia fans, it doesn't have to.

Given that the Movie is the banner part of the franchise at the moment, I don't envisage anything being geared to blazing new ground until after the movie franchise is no longer an active concern.

Being a relative 'newbie' to all this - I'd say say that being on the ground floor of a new series has been a huge factor in my enjoyment of the show. Following the development of Animated closely has really got me excited for series 3. Animated has always had that misfortune of being released in between the Transformers movies. Even though they're clearly different universes, Animated clearly takes a back seat to the live-action franchise. I've often wondered if things would have been handled any differently without the movie being released. It's a shame that we're seeing the end of the line (so the rumours say) - because I really believe that there's been some great moments in terms of characterisation (The likes of Ratchet, Prowl, Bulkhead etc) - and most of the toys have been fantastic. And....well...the fact I can draw them reasonably well doesn't hurt either.

I enjoyed the beginning and the end of the episode, but the portion about Sari really bored me.

So I downloaded parts 1 and 2 and then discovered that other downloads have all three parts. I finally found a link that works but it's telling me 12 hours Based on the first two parts... bit dissapointed actually. Cameos didn't do anything for me and I quickly got bored of the Sari part of the story. They really shouldn't be using 3 episodes up for this. Still a fun show, but something seems to be missing.

For an alleged "movie", it's bloody disjointed and that counts against it.
The character beats, action (the battle at the start is AMAZING), intrigue, and some quite unexpected twists all count very much for it!
