Animated in Japan?

Did Animated (series and figures-wise) ever get a run in Japan or is that yet to happen?

Japan-released Animated toys with better paint-jobs would do the moulds better justice.

It hasn't been released in Japan. I suspect it may do a Beast Machines, which was given a brief and limited release under the name Beast Wars Returns several years after its run elsewhere.

They've messed up a bit - what are they going to do when Ironhide shows up later on.

Bulkhead is Ironhide. who's Ironhide going to be seeing he has an Iron Hide & is the same as Ratchet

What's going on with Bulkhead/Ironhide's colour scheme? He's like aqua .

Aside from that, I hope the other paint jobs turn out really nicely. And as I've said before, more black outline in some areas (esp the faces) is needed.

Who's Sound Blaster toy listed down for Japan release. - the US dropped the renamed Soundwave black repaint & just called him Electrostatic Soundwave. Are they making him a new character for Japan - which they should have done here.

Just looking at the toy boxes for Animated in Japan.

They really having got the hang of the feal of the line. We have them in the slightly mis shaped boxes that stand out in the shops - while Japan have decided to make them look like all the old Transformers toy boxes in Japan with lettering up the sides & the boxes being normal.

Just watched the Japan titles for the cartoon - they must be showing all the series 1-3 as series one then seeing they have revealed all the story plot lines in the opening titles.

Omega Supreme who is the shock series 2 ending, they might as just had Longarm stand still on there with a sign saying I'm Shockwave, they also reveal all the Starscream clones in the titles.

I really like the animation done for those titles. I guess whoever did it had an Ironhide fetish though, he appears more in the titles than he does in the show.

What is that big ghost thing supposed to be?

I must say I love those titles, although it does make me mourn the passing of Animated even more. All those superlatives lavished upon were genuinely deserved, in my opinion.

It also makes me sad again that there is little prospect of a UK release of Arcee, since she features so prominently in the titles. Any word of a UK DVD boxset of the series?

or could Japan be doing their own Animted series?

With Japan normal wanting 26 episodes for a year - but coudl they be showing all 42 in one go? they could show 26 for series one ending with Black friday - but that only leaves 16 for series 2 - when they need another 10.

Or they could have 6 extra ones made & have 50 in series one then do their own series 2 of about 50

If anyone has epsiode guides - i've seen that they are showing them not in order - but for Soundwave, they must be changing the start of that one due to it talking about ep9 in it.

ALso I hope we gets eries 3 released - even though US sites say Hasbro aren't going to release series 3.
