This was another episode which I enjoyed. After the end of last weeks I was initially disappointed that there was no Decepticons, until they brought them back. Finally the return of....

I did groan though when Meltdown appeared on screen, expecting another poor episode, but fortunately he fitted in well to the story. Well except that they never explained how he escaped after being captured in episode 5. The way in which he was able to take control of the Dino's by hurting them made sense, as well as ties into the original series of the Dinobots working for the bad guys.
It took me a while to figure out why the two experiments looked familiar, as I was thinking Seacons, when instead they resemble the Pretender shells of Blood and Gilmer.
The only thing that I really hated was how naff Slag and Swoops robot modes are. Awful, just awful.
Oh and the best thing about this episode was no Bumblebee.
Edit: Just realised that the Triceratops is called Snarl in Animated and not Slag. That is confusing. Damn Copyright.
