Big explosions! Starscream getting front-stabbed! Megatron being awesome! Blitzwing! Hurray! Now if only the Dinobots had been in it...
The bit where Optimus gives Sari the Key back, OTOH, is dumber BW Scorponok explaining to Sludge how the moon landings were faked. Ratchet getting beaten up proves it was wrong to take it off her? Bollocks it does, what does Sari think would've happened if the Decepticons had gone after her for the Key? Let's see her surviving being frozen and having a hand ripped off - assuming Blackarachnia didn't get their first and use it to decay all organic life unto death again...

I enjoyed the conclusion of the 2 parter and nearly exploded when the autobots ship crashed into the mountain and it had a decidedly volcanoey look to it

I let out a sigh of despair at that point, myself. Fanservice works best when it's subtle, I feel.
This episode was a definite step down in quality after the last one, but still entertaining. The ending was contrived but as long as Megatron remains a persistent threat and there is actually some fallout from the destruction of the Allspark in Megatron's chest (again- another sigh from me when that happened) I'll be satisfied.

I thought it was an OK episode.
The crashing into the hillside thing took me out of the show a bit. Even for the cartoon physics of the series it felt more like it should have actually flattened in "bug meets windshield" kind of thing.
I thought it was ok as far as shows aimed at the age group goes. Felt a little bit like the big reset switch was thrown most of the way by the end though.
Certainly watchable and entertaining though.
