Courtesy of Derrick J Wyatt's blog we can see bits of some of the characters still to appear. So far I can spot Swindle, Wreck-Gar, Skywarp, Thundercracker - an unnamed transformer with builder's cleavage. A foot which could be either Bluestreak or maybe Kup?! Andy

Wreck-Gar, booo. Swindle, yeah! Cleavage, nice! Skywarp and Thundercracker, oh no! I'll have to buy all 3 Animated Seekers now! Aaargh!

Well, the Animated panel at Botcon did indicate a Shockwave character was due to appear.

The central image certainly could be a Shockwave (assuming they are going for the classic monocular look). Hmm, another new Shockwave toy might come out of this.... my wallet may not forgive them for that if it is a decent toy.

Another pet theory I can happily get behind is the top-middle chap being Jetstorm. Thundercracker and Skywarp might make a decent on-screen presence, but I think my days of blowing 60 quid on three of the same toy are behind me.
I think.

If Thundercracker and Skywarp are going to be repaints then I suspect that I too will be tempted to only buy one of them. The mecha toy budget looks to be having a number of calls on it this year, so I will likely have to prioritise. Ah well, at least I will get to pick a colour scheme in that eventuallity.

According to the Wikipedia entry on Wierd Al Yankovic he is doing the voice for Wreck-Gar in this series.

The choice to include Wreck-Gar in the new series befuddles me entirely.
Maybe it's because I've never been a huge Junkion fan, but i can think of at least 20 other characters who would fit in better.

Saw the Wreck-gar ep a couple of days ago, Weird Al did indeed do the voice over, was pretty cool.

I imagine he's taken as he is something of a blank slate and also I imagine for the forseeable future any animated series will focus on the core characters and then throw in a few randoms here and there. I am happy to see Wreck Gar. Long time no see. Also - John Moschita will be doing the voice of Blurr. That foot is Blurr dyrl
