Don't know if Simon & the team would consider this - mainly to save him time & money from printing out information pack - just reading my email booking confirmation.
They should just send out a confirmation slip to everyone who booked - so that just costing sending one a4 sheet in post than paying 40p+ to everyone with the information pack - which can be sent by email
Anyone else think that is a good idea? making it go more paperless. & the info sheet would take ages to pring off 500 times.
They can only send the confirmation slip by email if it is users protected or something like that.

We still have to post out the passes anyway Pete so all it would really do is reduce the cost of printing the actual info packs themselves. However, because they contain the convention rules in them, it's the best way we can ensure that EVERY attendee has got them before the convention.
We will be posting them up on the website as well but we can't force everyone to go to the site and read them, but at least having them physically in their hands stops anyone from saying that they haven't seen them. There are some key rules / guidelines that we must emphasise to everyone and it's the only real way to do it.
Personally I'd love to scrap posting things out as it would save me loads of time but being realistic, we have to look at what works and what doesn't.
