First of all I'd like to see the already made figures make their way to the UK. I need Rodimus, Blackout, Arcee, Cybertron Ratchet etc.
In terms of other toys, I'd love to see Team Char get their own toys, as well as Hot Shot. Cybertron mode Oil Slick would be my favourite paint app of all time if done like the show...
Oh and Omega Supreme.
Oh and Highbrow! Perceptor and Wheeljack too!
Oooooh and The Constructicons!
To be honest, everyone who isn't already immortalised in plastic.

As cool as that would be, I think the lead-in time between Animated being successful in Japan, and them being able to design and make new toys would be far too long, unless they've already started.

It's possible. If the show and toys are popular. I'd be somewhat surprised to find reoccurring show characters like the constructicons didn't have any early toy design work done. If those could be up and running within a year, brand new stuff could be only a few months behind. In between theres the stuff still unreleased by Hasbro and a fair number of possible repaints hasbro didnt do. Starscream alone could be repainted an extra 4 times and with a bit of modding again for Slipstream.
Prowl can get the traditional set of repaints too. Theres probably quite a bit of F1 homage potential generally which the Japanese seeme to like.
