Let's not veer too much into Embarrassing Bodies territory, but do share your tales of health woes and misery as we age and start to fall apart.
Sympathy is welcome, but not mandatory.
Today I had to have a blood test, but the nurse didn't put the plaster on afterwards properly. So by the time I'd driven back to work I looked like I'd been shot in the arm.
And, weirdly, the dog's been sat right next to me all day as if guarding me since he's never seen blood before.

Hope everythin's okay now Graham.
I constantly feel like a decaying mummy of sorts, soon to be found wandering blind through ancient Stygian tombs. A relic, a phantom.

Came off the bike at the weekend. Two days later still hurt.
Skin on my face looks like crap.
Something is giving me massive wrinkles under my eyes.
Bert.

I constantly feel like a decaying mummy of sorts, soon to be found wandering blind through ancient Stygian tombs. A relic, a phantom. If you are going to wander around Stygian tombs, you might bump into Conan which would likely lead to an ignominious end to your career in shambling. I think I am ageing fairly gracefully - other than the steady thinning of my hair. Bald as a cueball by forty I reckon. Ah well, saves me from going grey I suppose. Karl

I've still got a full head of hair and don't seem to be showing any signs of old age as yet. I am hoping that I've inherited my fathers eternal youth gene because he's 72 and his hair is only just starting to thin out - it hasn't even gone grey yet! People down the pub keep on asking him what hair dye he uses but they mean it as a joke because they know he's an old fashioned type of person who doesn't give a toss about any of these new fangled things such as that. On that note he's hoping I haven't gone grey when I reach my 70's!

The spare tyre that comes and goes on the waist, rendering trousers tight is an uncomfortable aspect of ageing. Darn my metabolism.

The ol' back aches from time to time, but only after I've been stooping.
Knees are the main thing, esp the right one, cartillage probs, from my karate days. Can't run at all now (haven't been able to for years).
The odd extra stone here and there, don't do anything about it so it can't worry me that much!
Other than that I'm dandy, baby!

The hairloss doesn't really bother me that much. The twinges and pains however do irk me somewhat. As you can imagine i was somewhat decreprit looking after the half marathon on Sunday.
My spare tire isn't too bad and I keep it in check but I think i shall struggle to banish it entirely.
