BlackjackBlackjack is a member of the Decepticon Micromaster Sports Car Patrol. He's co-moulded with Roadhugger - they both share black and purple plastic. The team is completed by Detour and Hyperdrive who are also co-moulded with each other sharing yellow & pale blue plastic. Blackjack is a black Ford Probe car with gold painted windows. If we follow our comparisons with earlier Transformers that we've had with the Micromaster patrols then the Sports Car Patrol - Decepticon Cars = are obviously The Stunticons. Some of the analogies are a little loose for this team but the dark body work means that Blackjack is similar to Wildrider. TFL Fold the rear of the car back to become the legs. Fold the bonnet down to become the chest. Stand. The robot mode reveals the purple also used on this mould on the head & upper legs - it's also used for the body under the fold down chest. Standard Micromaster articulation of turning shoulders and bending but linked hips & knees. Overall: Dark car mode looks great and the robot is decent Decepticon colours. BlackheatWhen the Sports Car Patrol were released in Japan they changed sides - they're now Cybertron(Autobot) toys - and colours - well they do look rather Decepticon like. Now known as the Super Car patrol the following colour swaps apply: Black stays the same Purple becomes yellow Yellow becomes white Pale blue becomes red Blackjack becomes Blackheat and has a vehicle mode that isn't affected one bit by the changes. The black is the prominent colour still in robot mode with the fold down chest concealing the body parts and the yellow still looks quite Decepticon like. The Super Car Patrol were released first in Japan in 1990 as Transformers Zone toy C-333. They came back the following year, now packed with Microtrailer number 12 as set numbered C-375.

Decepticon RoadhuggerRoadhugger is a purple Ferrari F40 car with pale blue painted windows. He's a member of the Decepticon Micromaster Sports Car Patrol. He's co-moulded with Blackjack - they both share black and purple plastic. The team is completed by Detour and Hyperdrive who are also co-moulded with each other sharing yellow & pale blue plastic. TF: Fold the rear of the car back to form the legs. Fold the bonnet back onto the front windscreen and stand with the underside facing forward. The robot mode reveals his secondary plastic colour, black on the head, body and upper legs. Good points: Optimus Prime style head framed by a pair of missile banks. Bad Points: The joint for the bonnet is far too high projecting up above the head. Standard Micromaster articulation of turning shoulders and bending but linked hips & knees. Cybertron RoadhuggerWhen the Sports Car Patrol were released in Japan they changed sides - they're now Cybertron(Autobot) toys - and colours - well they do look rather Decepticon like. Now known as the Super Car patrol the following colour swaps apply: Black stays the same Purple becomes yellow Yellow becomes white Pale blue becomes red Roadhugger keeps his own name but his vehicle mode is now a bright yellow. The Super Car Patrol were released first in Japan in 1990 as Transformers Zone toy C-333. They came back the following year, now packed with Microtrailer number 12 as set numbered C-375.

Detour Detour is a member of the Decepticon Micromaster Sports Car Patrol. He's co-moulded with Hyperdrive sharing yellow & pale blue plastic. The team is completed by the co-moulded Blackjack & Roadhugger - they both share black and purple plastic. Detour is a yellow Chevrolet Corvette Indy sports car. If we carry on our Sports Car Patrol = Stunticons analogy then he'd be Dragstrip on the tenuous grounds that they're both yellow. TF: Fold the rear of the car back to become the legs. Fold the bonnet down to become the chest. Stand. The robot mode reveals the pale blue also used on this mould on the head & upper legs - it's also used for the body under the fold down chest. Standard Micromaster articulation of turning shoulders and bending but linked hips & knees. Bit of a colour clash here - and on his co-mould - between the yellow & the light blue. DeadhourWhen the Sports Car Patrol were released in Japan they changed sides - they're now Cybertron(Autobot) toys - and colours - well they do look rather Decepticon like. Now known as the Super Car patrol the following colour swaps apply: Black stays the same Purple becomes yellow Yellow becomes white Pale blue becomes red The white & red colours together like this make me think Medic and on a car make him look like Masterforce MinervaThe Super Car Patrol were released first in Japan in 1990 as Transformers Zone toy C-333. They came back the following year, now packed with Microtrailer number 12 as set numbered C-375.

Hyperdrive Hyperdrive is a member of the Decepticon Micromaster Sports Car Patrol. He's co-moulded with Detour sharing yellow & pale blue plastic. The team is completed by the co-moulded Blackjack & Roadhugger - they both share black and purple plastic. If we carry on our Sports Car Patrol = Stunticons analogy then he'd be .... well he'd be the one that doesn't quite fit. Detour is Dragstrip (by virtue of the vehicle mode colour), Blackjack's dark body work makes him Wildrider and Roadhugger is Dead End then that leaves Hyperdrive as Breakdown - they both have blue limbs so the analogy does sort of work. TF: Fold the rear of the car back to form the legs. Fold the bonnet back onto the front windscreen and stand with the underside facing forward. Bit of a colour clash here - and on his co-mould - between the yellow - revealed on the chest, head and upper legs - & the light blue. Standard Micromaster Articulation of turning shoulders and bending but linked hips & knees. Fairly typical Micromaster car - and there are a few of them - hurt by the colour clash. GinghamWhen the Sports Car Patrol were released in Japan they changed sides - they're now Cybertron(Autobot) toys - and colours - well they do look rather Decepticon like. Now known as the Super Car patrol the following colour swaps apply: Black stays the same Purple becomes yellow Yellow becomes white Pale blue becomes red Oh dear, what a silly name. But the red car - with blue painted windows - and the red limbed robot with white head, chest and upper legs is a big improvement on the original. The Super Car Patrol were released first in Japan in 1990 as Transformers Zone toy C-333. They came back the following year, now packed with Microtrailer number 12 as set numbered C-375.
