It's hard to believe he can still get work in US comics after screwing over so many people in that industry. Oh, if he is actually doing this work by himself anyway.

That looks more like Jae Lee, so maybe he is back up to his old tricks already...

It does make me rather annoyed to see Pat Lee still getting work in comics. Really, with a track record like his I am both surprised and disheartened.

I think the reason why Dynamite hired Pat Lee is because they are a small struggling comics publishers and they need the publicity. Lee has a track record of publicity (even bad publicity is good publicity) and unfortunately we have fallen into the trap by talking about it here. These things circle around the net very quickly and the more it goes around the more publicity Dynamite will get. Why hire an unknown comic artist with real talent that nobody has ever heard of when you can hire a notorious comic artist that everybody has heard of (and also despises).

I think the reason why Dynamite hired Pat Lee is because they are a small struggling comics publishers and they need the publicity. They're hardly small and struggling. They're regulary in the top ten publishers distributed by Diamond each month [unit and dollar share]. The Boys is one of my bigger sellers in monthly comics, and one of my top sellers in trades. And they mostly publish movie tie-in stuff which is an easy and consistent sell. I'd go as far as saying that of all the non-premier comic publishers, Dynamite is the one I order the most from [used to be IDW, but they're now in with the big boys].

Good. I don't always agree with him, but continually sticking it to Lee is something he has my full backing for.

Wishful thinking: maybe one day one of his new comics will get optioned for a movie and he can use his movie cheque to pay people back. And then maybe someone could finish War Within.

I doubt he'll do that. He's had the cash before to cover the debts and has spunked it away. He's a wee prick and one day he will get what he deserves.

www.bleedingcool.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34672TV Tokyo is creating a new CGI anime series with Carloon Animation and Total Production Office called Train Hero.
And the infamous Pat Lee is designing all the characters for the 26 episode show, Oh dear.

For anyone wishing to pick up the Pacific Rim comics from Legendary publishing beware. An old friend has allegedly produced a variant cover for them. www.patleeart.com/updatesAndy
