You have a knock-off of Andy? -Ralph Those Taiwanese manufacturers are certainly spreading their net wide. Are any of our identities safe do you think? I don't think I'm going to be going after these to be honest - given that they are limited to 2000, and folk can buy up to ten of them I can see them becoming an absolute scalpers paradise. Karl

Considering how knackered the moulds seemed (going by the Botcon versions), I wouldn't waste money on them, personally.

Henkei 2.0 New Pictures Courtest of www.tformers.comComplete with authentic chrome-silver weaponry, which on Prowl and Bluestreak looks awesome.

authentic chrome-silver weaponry, As oppposed to fake chrome-silver weaponry one would assume? :-) They do look nice with the silvered shooting-irons I will admit. I'm not sure though that it makes a big enough difference for me to pick them up at the higher price, once shipping and customs is taken into account, than the domestic releases will likely come in at. T'is nice. Looking again at Streak does actually make me tempted to skip the Universe one and go after the Henkei version instead. There's something about the way that the silver works with the grey that I think makes a bigger difference than it does on Prowl.

I'll hold out for the Henkei Bluestreak. I was really put off by Hasbro Universe Prowl though when having a shot at one at the weekend. Really nice mould but ruined by a strange sticky type of white plastic used for the car top and doors which soaks up dirt/sweat from hands seemingly instantly, rendering the toy black really quickly. A shame, that's a sale lost from me. Anyone know if the Henkei version is like that? -Ralph

Still not sold on Galvatron, but the new colour scheme on Ironhide is a vast improvement.

Yeah.... The colors on Galvatron look superb - but the problem is the mold - it just stinks. Particularly the legs... but even the arms. In fact - nothing but the chest and head say 'Galvatron' ... and that ain't good. Ironhide looks scrumdidliuptious I take it that's his n...err...nn...nitrogen gun, yes? Pete

Yeah, but it's really really cold nitrogen. Otherwise it would just be a 'stiff breeze' gun.

There will be some very good customs using that chest and head, but the rest doesnt do anything for me. He looks like Frankenstein's Galvatron.

Yeah... that or Transformers Live Action Movie Galvatron that was customized by a fan to "at least" have Galvatron's head and chest Pity. Would be nice to get a decent Galvatron toy - but it looks like the original TFTM 1986 is unbeatable (the mold that is, because I think the Takara repaint beats it) Pete

I had a Henkei version Starscream arrive today. I almost wish I'd waited having seen those pics.
Review coming, but I'm in the middle of a big BW review and I want to take the oppotunity to start to bundle all of the Classics Starscream reviews together.

Well, it had to happen, didn't it? www.ganbo-store.com/special/article_1503_25.jspGoing by those silhouettes, it looks like both jets have completely new wings (weirdly Thrust seems to have his VTOL turbines on his tail wings). Even better, this Dirge won't be a repaint of Ramjet.

This should calm those who were bothered about the jets being Botcon exclusives previously.

Which is a rather silly place for them all told (not that their existence isn't a bit daft in any event). I presume that these are going to be web-store exclusives like the Thundercracker and therefore command the same kind of daft money? Karl
