The Amazon.com synopsis shows an interesting take here:
Optimus and Megatron being former allies isn't something that's been done before, AFAIK.

Aha, thank you. The synopisis makes it sound like a mix of Megatron Origin and The War Within, with a hint of Sunbow.

I didn't get around to ordering until the day after the listed release date, at which point Amazon was saying "normally shipped in 7-10 days".

The US HC has shipped. It turns out I'd ordered that one night while drunk! My UK one has been delayed, but as I'd promised Ralph a copy it's all good!

AFAIK the US release is in hardback, the UK release is in paperback. What type of cover did the copies in FP have?

Well, they were definitely paperback, and I'm 99% certain it had a pound price rather than dollars on the back.

I've got the HB. Doing a more detailed review for CT for Auto Assembly. Upshot is, decent read, but does not hold up to scrutiny should you wish to examine it.
