One of the supervisors came up to me today at work and asked me if I was willing to do a twelve hour shift for three days next week plus weekends. I said no but I have a feeling that this is now going to go against me and they'll only want me into work for about three days next week at the most. Unfortunately for you, I'm guessing some of those Poles would be in the habit of saying yes to such requests? Martin

Most of my department said yes in fact because they thought that it would guarantee their employment at the place even more. I've worked in a place worse than this before and I know that there are no rewards from the gaffers for arsehole creeping!

That's a crap situation Zudo, and it's sheer victimisation. You don't need that.
I had an eventful week of working my arse off doing both jobs, lot of gigs on so loads of roadie hours, culminating in an awesome 3 shifts roadying for Metallica! That was seriously cool. I was close enough to high five the full band, absolute thrill. I've been a lifelong Metallica fan, and being that close to them was a right trip. Plus when I was on stage there were plectrums everywhere so I got to be a proper rock star by flicking them out to the baying fans, ha ha ha!

Aaargh! Fluffy peregrine chicks now mutating into evil gremlin form. Or possibly trying to do an impersonation of Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living. www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/peregrines/They seem to also be allergic to sunlight. Martin
