Its quite an easy build aside from the very first piece in the instructions being missing.

Which set number? Is it the mythical Nick New Year's eve build set? The white LEGO set of ultimate whiteness, made of nothing but white pieces... Karl

Not quite. For some insane reason Boba Fett goes for mad mad money. As I have the Fett without the printed legs I would very happily have stuck that on ebay, but I dont.... I would have liked Lando to keep. Lukes a bit dull looking so not bothered about missing him. But at least I got Leia. And the playset looks pretty cool, hopefully I have most of it.

where round here has good car boots, I never know when they are on! I think theres a big one at or near Doncaster Racecourse, but theres probably loads nearer you. Nobody else ever anywhere in the country finds anything good at a car boot I believe Bogatan has made a deal with satan That would have been the easier option, its mostly just turning up early and spotting the good stuff before anyone else. Any cheap lego will be gone within minutes if not seconds of getting out of the boot (or the public being let in depending on set up - though the ones that only let buyers in after sellers have set up usually have at have been picked clean by other sellers) If you come across any you have to judge the amount of lego versus non lego bricks. This is a pain in the arse. Get it wrong and you over pay massively. And if you do buy a big lot it will take hours to remove all the megabloks and even longer to find all the bits to a set if you are able to figure out what sets are in there. Minifigures are good, the more the better. Harry Potter and Star Wars are good and generally have colour schemes, unique bricks and or stickers that distinguish them from other lines quite easily. Technic is good. Bionicles are bad. Vintage lego is mostly bad, pre 80s Lego is mostly worthless except the really old lego came with little plastic lamp posts, petrol pumps and speed signs etc that look nothing like lego and dont in any way interact with lego. They go for good money, which I only found out after binning a load of them. Train sets are always good. 80s space, castle and tropical are good, city not so much. 90s line generally not popular for some reason. And that is Bogatans Guide to Lego Buying on the Secondary Market.

LEGO MASTERS begins Thursday 24th August, 8pm on Channel 4. How did they mess this up so badly? Little focus on the Lego. Narrator/presenter terrible. Filming/editing terrible. No sense of the constructions themselves, be it in the engineering, scale/scope or build as a whole... Just meh.

New SW Lego mag today; I quite like Rey's speeder, though a design like that at this scale verges on the abstract. New Order snow speeder next month, which doesn't look very inspiring to be honest.

The Falcon had been the favourite for the set some time.
Reputedly largest set ever.

Very boring choice. There have been umpteen Falcons already. A surprising lack of imagination from Lego here.
