The latest Star Wars mag was out in Germany today; Sandcrawler does not disappoint, a very satisfying little build! Back to the minifigures next month with a Snowtrooper. -Jim I've no idea how many Snowtroopers I have but you can never have too many. Bought to encourage them to do more Minifigs |

That Ninjago city is amazing! It slightly reminds me of something I built out of tonnes of castle LEGO as a kid, a sort of makeshift village with a couple of levels and an underground river.

Yup. My problem is that in the last couple of months I have found a few small sets I had an eye on in sales and then there was that crazy Asdaland crash sale where I got 6 sets for £25. So I haven't been spending much money on Lego but I seem to have built up a mountain of smallish sets I have yet to build!

Ugh! Went a little crazy at the car boot this morning.
A guy was selling lots of lego with all the minifigures in some bags. Spent way too much on 3 bags worth, but it was a chance to get some reasonably expesnive figures relatively cheap.
Got the full set of minifigures from the 7965 Millenium Falcon, though not luke training helmet. But I do finally have an episode IV Leia. Also got an early Bobba Fett, The first Ahsoka (which Ive wanted a version of for a while, though not relly this one) and R2 from 8037. And a bunch of Clones and Mandelorians.
Also from Arkham Break Out (10937) Joker, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Batman. Plus a Batman and Robin from somewhere else and a second Poison Ivy.

Went to Bricklive which it is fair to say was not in any way shape or form a patch on the Swindown Brick shows I have been to. Not much fan builds and lots and lots of open space. The stage area was completely wasted. Thankfully, Nick and I were able to get as much out of it as possible because we are Scottish and paid to get in. If I had been on my own I would have been out the door after 15 mins!
What fan displays there were were good though and I did make an entirely authentic replica of Castle Decepticon, Doctor Doom's Tower of Doom and a Skynet vehicle from the nightmare/flashforward in The Terminator. At least, that was what I was imagining in my head.
Grabbed a Lego keychain Jyn Erso in the Lego Store later so at last I have a minifig Felicity Jones.

Saw a couple of the Ninjago Movie sets in Asdaland and the blind bag series in WH Smiths. Impulse bought one of the latter and got green ninja dude who also comes with an alternate hair piece as well as map and sword so not bad for a minifig. Looking at the others, I feel I must packet feel for the old man with the Corn Flakes cereal box. Must have Lego Corn Flakes cereal box.

I'm having one of those happy, but annoyed reactions to a bag of Lego I bought this morning.
Turned out it contains loads of Star Wars. Thats good. One is Emporer Palpatines Shuttle. No idea how complete, but Palpatine is there and so is the distinctive canopy piece, replacements for anything else shouldn't be difficult. So good again.
The other set I know is largely there is Cloud City. Thats very good. Princess Leia is present, thats even better, shes worth more than I paid for the whole lot.
I wonder who isnt there. Yeah thats right the bloody £250 Boba Fett is missing. (also Luke, Han and Lando) Urgh!
