I will admit, the front of that Millenium Falcon is causing me some problems in my mind the more I look at it.

It's a completely new front. That will allow it to sell more sets to folk who already have the MF. *shrugs*

But people will still buy it.
Purchased one of the new Nexo Knight sets today. It looks delightfully barmy. Virus vs chunky battle vehicles this year. Feels like the line is drawing to a close though as much smaller range this release and now cheap/expensive sets, all in the £20-55 range. Boo.
And a set of Minifigs was built.

I was very tempted by a whole bunch of new sets yesterday but NK seems to be showing up only in Lego Stores now so thought I should get it while I could and other sets more widely available are bound to go on sale some time. The Creator 3 in 1 Mythical Creatures is a must. As is the City Tractor Logger (I especially liked the story on the back promoting replanting of new trees while logging old ones - complete with old style green lego trees as new saplings! The use of brown round 2x2 bricks so you can 'chainsaw' up the older trees was smart too).

I'm a great fan of an occasional lego model - whod have thought the lego revolution here would've started with "an occasional model"

The new Lego City magazine hit today; they seem to have some confidence in it as they are upping the schedule to every two months, and there's a page advertising a subscription with a choice from two (maybe exclusive?) sets as incentive. Next month the attached toy is mine themed! This month's is a bit uninspired for my money...

They're not exclusive after all, I just didn't recognise them - it's the Speed Record Car brickset.com/sets/60178-1/Speed-Record-Carand the Airshow Jet brickset.com/sets/60177-1The subscription is for 12 issues at 6 issues a year.

Hmmm. They are brand new sets so quite good for a subscriber bonus. This could push me over the edge. I buy every issue for the minifigure anyway (the magazine is read once and recycled).

That is a rather nice little set. It has a nice cutsiefied look to it, but still is obviously the kind of small aerobatic training aircraft beloved of display teams the world over. Nice set, I can see me being tempted if I see that one shelves. Karl
