It had passed us by, but the Lego Star Wars Battlepack was 10 years old this year. brickset.com/sets/tag-Battle-Pack/theme-Star-WarsI missed out on the 2007 & 2008 sets - wish I'd got 7655: Clone Troopers Battle Pack & 7667: Imperial Dropship. The first ones I bought off the shelf were the 2010 Hoth pair, then I found a Assasin's Droid set cheap. 2012's Endor set was great, wish I'd bought more, but Battlepacks really got it right in 2014, with 2015 Imperial Troop Transportere being a real highlight and pushing a big Kenner button for me. The Bounty Hunter box his year is gold! |

I think Ive got most of the minifigures from those pack up till 2014 at least. Car boot sales are good.
Just bought Lego Dimensions David Hasslehoff and Mr T. Not from a car boot sale, but only £8 each.

The Jawa Battlepack is fab. 4 good minifigs and a plausible vehicle you could see Jawas using.

So for Christmas, I was given a few of those Lego Dimensions thingies. I already have the base game.
Well.
I've got the Portal kit, all the boxes and the game case... actual game disc is nowhere to be found.

Which console are you trying to play it on?
I finally got around to playing Dimensions a few days ago. Its quite entertaining, but it reminded me why I stopped playing video games, constant, unskippable movie bits between the games bits. I get it, they are telling stories, but dammit I just want to play the game bits. I'll stick with watching films and TV for the story bits.

PS3. Yeah, I feel that. I think with this game the fact you need abilities from characters you have to buy separately bothers me a bit too much. I know that's the point, so it's probably not the game for me, but I can't even build the kits, as the instructions are in the game!
I guess, unless the disc shows up, I'm going to have to try and borrow Ed's copy when next I am over that way.
