Between this and the upcoming 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi that will inevitably yield more original SW trilogy things I will be compelled to buy, it's a good thing Hasbro aren't putting out too many TFs I'm interested in buying these days.

The lego batphone is a fine, fine touch. I'm not always bothered by all of Lego's licensed stuff but this does look like a very nice set.

ASDA are stocking a LEGO Star Wars Encyclopedia. It is great fun and also comes with an exclusive Han Solo minifig from the medal scene at the end of the first film. Well worth a fiver.

The various Ewoks are named, except for the black one, who is known only as...BLACK EWOK.

The Star Wars and Harry Potter Lego got hit hard this morning at Sainsbury, those two were stripped bare in about 20 minutes. I settled thought for a Lightning McQueen and 2 minifigure blind packs.

At 7:45 am most of the LEGO had been stripped bare in my local Sainsburys. One woman had a trolly overloaded with LEGO. I grabbed a SW Ewok Attack Set (which I had been on the hunt for anyway). It was pretty much the only LEGO left.

I did not know LEGO Dinosaurs existed! -Ralph This is the third of fourth attempt at doing some. I had a set of the originals which made a handsome profit on eBay's altar. Outwarly they may not look lego bu the internal connectors are all technic joints etc.

According to the latest issue of Toy World, "2012 will see the unveiling of Batman, Superman, Spider-Man and The Avengers lines. Lego Super Heroes... offer iconic characters and scenes from both the DC and Marvel super hero universe... Within each of the larger DC play theme sets is a Lego comic book... A selection of products will be launched between January and April [ahead of] The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises movies."

Hmm. According to my post on the page after, I have seen them, yet I have no memory of them. Well, at least the packed-in comics seem to be news.

The LEGO SW Advent Calender is £18-something in John Lewis. I've generally seen it at £25-26 elsewhere!

It rings up as the former but the nice staff will sell it you as the latter once you point the sticker out. The LEGO City one is £17.95. Both are now mine. Last year, my LEGO Advent Calender was 'lost' in the mail (*** you, Royal Mail!) so at least this December I am assured of daily LEGO joy. And that's about as Christmassy as I get. -Ralph

I just love Christmas edition figures, but I as much as I want that Yoda I don't want to get a calendar just for him. I am much more impressed with this years Playmobil's Christmas offerings at the moment.

The stickers had been removed from the remaining boxes. Perhaps they weren't meant to be sold at the lower price after all... Amazon want £45 for it! -Ralph
