So the last sets of the dead line then.
In other news, National Geographic Kids has a Lego covermount again.

There is a healthy Space Lego community who make their own stuff in that style and display at shows, etc. Perhaps you need to start the fan Nexo Knights movement!

I saw a 'Speed' set in town today. If I was weaker... that series looks very tempting.

My daughter is quite into cars and has a couple of them; they're quite neat little sets and fun builds, though a bit heavy on the stickers.

I've been really bitten by the Star Wars LEGO bug with Last Jedi sets getting properly discounted now, and they generally seem to be really good (think I already mentioned the Defense of Crait and Ahch-To Island sets, both brilliant).
The First Order AT-ST is both an enjoyable build and quite fun as a toy with the rotating gun turret. It gets a lot of stick in reviews partly due to being Last Jedi-related (reviews for anything TLJ related are impossible to trust) and for not being a "complete" AT-ST, but it looks really good with the upper part missing and a little area for BB-8 to sit. Captain Phasma and Rose and Finn in First Order uniforms are also neat little figures. Would never have paid RRP for it, but at about 1/3 RRP it's great.
Also the Sandspeeder, a wonderfully obscure homage, is a nice little build with some good figures. Not a detailed build like the Crait set but a satisfying one.
Still have Snoke's throne room to build and a Resistance transport pod on the way.

Built the Resistance Transport Pod just now. It's a surprisingly complex build for such a compact ship, and has lots of nice details - hidden storage compartments, rotating gun turret, clever mechanism for triggering the missile launchers. On the down side _loads_ of stickers though.
It's like something about TLJ brought out the best in the LEGO Star Wars designers, every set I've had so far has been a winner.

Oh my yes. That is glorious. Just the little space-plane on top of the rocket stack is quite cool by itself, but that crawler vehicle is absolutely lovely. Karl

Didn't realsie Disney Series 2 minifigures were out till I was in Smyths trying to use the £6 off voucher so got 6 packs for £12.
If Id known I would have visited Smyths the past couple of days and got all 18 figures at that price.
Also got Bane and Mission Impossible Ethan Hunt for 99p each.

All of my Lego (with the exception of those parts assembled into large stompy robots) is currently in a single large plastic storage box, but only because it has out-grown my childhood Lego box in which it would all otherwise be stored. yes, I saw it too! They had two, one of them was out in the open for people to fiddle with, but the girl who was supervising had to keep apologising for it being out of stock.
I didn't think of going up to the floor with the city stuff to see the new space sets, must check those out.
I've been much more on a Star Wars kick lately, but only when deeply discounted. They seem startlingly expensive for what they are when new.
