At some point IDW have added Infiltration (apart from #0). Think it must have been fairly recently as it doesn't seem that long ago that I last checked. Good to see them starting to fill in the gaps.

Stormbringer is up as well.
Maybe this week will be Escalation, perhaps? And let's have a few more Spotlights!

The App was updated last week, but still no option to order the comics properly. I emailed IDW and the reply was that that feature will be part of the next update.
And plans for digital versions of Escalation and Devastation are afoot as well!

Huzzah!
I got quite excited when I saw the update as I thought they'd added a sort feature this time - but it just lets you rearrange some icons.

Even if they named the comics in a more logical manner, it would make a huge difference.
Plus I love that when you browse alphabetically, because all the comics start with "Transformers", everything's filed under "T" and the screen size means you can read past "Transformers"!

Is that the Transformers app or the IDW app that you are using?
I have the main IDW app and it's not very user friendly, especially when compared to the comixology based ones.

I use the just Transformers App. But I think it's the same as the general IDW one in terms of functionality.
The Comixology Apps are far superior.

They are indeed.
The search function and catalogue listing is much, much better.

I particularly like the ability to search via creators and/or story arcs.

IDW Publishing has released Transformers Foundation #2 today for the iPad, iPhone and iPod.
This is the first Transformers comic to be released digitally on the same day as its print edition counterpart!
Usually it takes about a month for digital editions to be made available.
And, unlike the day and date digital releases from Marvel, the IDW comics are priced at the standard £1.19 per issue.
I hope this paves the way for concurrent digital/print edition releases in the future!

This week IDW has released two digital "graphic novels": Last Stand of the Wreckers and Sector Seven. They're each £4.99, so about 19p less per issue than buying them individually.

I do not need to buy The Wreckers series again. Must fight compulsion...

If it came with Bullets and all the character profiles I'd buy it again.
But there's no word of that... I might email them...

I've emailed IDW.
I doubt there will be any extras so put your money away!
For now...

A digital version of a printed trade which omits some of the content? The point eludes me.

Yeah, though I'm glad as I would have been tempted to purchase again.

I would happily throw down a £1.19 for Bullets on its own.
I might email IDW again with my most whiny beggingest fanboy voice on.

Yeah an "Extras" issue featuring the bonus content would interest me. Might have to dispatch a carrier pigeon with my thoughts on this.

The reply was thusly:
"Bullets isn't in the immediate schedule but we'll look into it."
I think if they're going to look into it, a few emails from other fans of James's writing might want to email IDW's Digital Team using iphone@idwpublishing.com

Very much a positive move that digital TF comics now appear to be day-and-date with the physical copies.
