Day and date is the way forward to be honest. Also unlike Marvel and DC IDW have them at the same price as other digital comics, rather than inflating the price due to the novelty of being day and date,

Aren't the Marvel/DC same-day releases £2.39 compared to the "normal" £1.19?
At least some of the older comics are £0.59 on the IDW App as well.

And some of the upcoming 'day and date' Marvel/DC digital editions are the same price as the printed copies, thus missing the point somewhat. There was an even an Iron Man issue where the digital version cost $1 more than the printed copy!!!

Very impressive. I wonder if their digital sales could be outstripping physical sales?

It might be close!
IDW'd have to sell at least 19,231 copies of one new comic per week to get to 1,000,000.

I'm pretty cynical to the idea that they're selling that many, but I guess there must be someway to calculate it. Would be interesting though if they were outselling or even tying with physical copies, and would back up IDW's claims during the low selling All Hail Megatron that the physical sales figures really weren't telling the true story.

I am sure Apple is pretty hot at telling IDW how many comics have been sold when it comes to asking for the 10% cut!

They werent' selling digital copies during AHM though

Hopefully now they'll put Maximum Dinobots up next!
And then more Generations/Classics and Best of UK after that.

There is now a Titan App. No new TF issues unfortunately (still just 1 and 2) but maybe some will be added now this app has been released. The issues are now 59p both in the app and the standalone ones that were previously available.

Why would you want to read a comic on a tiny little phone?

Well you can fit a lot of comics on a tiny phone (or iPod in my case) which takes up considerably less space in your home than if you had print copies. Reduced issue price and portability are pluses too.

No new TF comics on it, but the Titan app is now on iPad.

And said Titan App now has the first issue of the DOTM comic for £1.19.
In other news, Transformers comics have started to appear on Comixology for the web and Android. (Not on iOS so far). You can get all four issues of the DOTM adaptation and lots of others for 99 cents in their current sale promotion!

Wonder what implications that has for the iverse based app that IDW use.

Decided to give #1 of the new Titan volume a go, but there's a problem.
To be fair the listing page does say it's not optimised for anything other than iPad. I assumed that just meant full-page only. I assumed right. However I also assumed you would be able to zoom. I assumed wrong.
Darn.
