You might be thinking of NASA's JIMO probe that got cancelled but would've been ace. ESA are planning a probe for launch early in the next decade (JUICE).
In the meantime JUNO is en route to the Jupiter system and will arrive in a few years time.

I see that the chinese have landed their Moon Rover for its survey mission. I do like the fact that they have named it in honor of the rabbit in the moon - mostly because I love the mental image of the Moon Rabbit bounding up to his technological namesake and wondering why it doesn't want to play.

Not to mention relentlessly pestering it for food.
I'm glad somebody's going back to the moon. The sooner we get folk up there and mining helium-3 to send back to Earth for clean-fission fuel the better!

Very exciting and encouraging news. Looking forward to seeing how the Chinese space program continues shaping up over the next few years.
(And let's get fusion (and robust energy storage) working first before we strip mine the Moon...)

They'd better get on and launch Voyagers 3 through 6.
Fascinating experiment to reproduce the storms though.
