They're up on ioffer now too, apparently it's the actual seller selling them on there.
That thread on TW2005 is insteresting! He apprently sold a ton of them to wholesalers at a wholesale price, then started selling to the public at that same price.
Lot of unhappy dealers unable to stick the big markup they had wanted.

I asked the seller how many of these sets were made, he claims 500, and when I asked if he'd be doing other exclusives like the dinosaur cassettes etc, he said other projects were being planned!
The fact that he hasn't went down an easy route and done the regular G1 heads makes me think he's leaning towards some Powermaster engine goodness...

Got a box of these off ioffer.com, and man they are great. The build quality is perfect, I've compared my Lord Zarak to the new one, and it's brilliant. They're so sturdy too, all arms move great, and they all transform brilliantly (particularly the animal ones, some very satisfying transformations there) and they all fit into an existing toy perfectly.
But man they're shite toys, ha ha ha!! I'd have hated to pay full value for a genuine one, they're delightfully terrible, colours that match no Headmaster robot, and faces that are mostly ludicrous looking. Spike is really cool though. Totally recommend these guys all the same.

I nabbed myself a set, and they're great. Having only Kirk previously, this set means I don't have to find the others. Shuffler [the elephant] is my favourite, great transformation.
I'll be picking up some more sets at AA, so if anyone wants a look feel free to ask. I might have a spare set, depending if other people who are supposed to be getting them from me change their mind.
