I almost wrote "my inventory" at the top, but as the stall has significant contributions from four very generous people this year that wouldn't be fair to them
You can download a list of what we're going to have available this year here:
www.pixel-cel.com/Toy-Fu/Toy-fu2010.xls
Don't forget that the inventory is split over three sheets- "random gear", "G2-G2" and "Newer/Botcon".
The first thing you'll notice is that there are no prices- I'm sorry about that, but I need to wait until I meet up with my co-conspirators to hash everything out. Those who stopped by the stall last year will hopefully agree that we were very reasonable and nobody need worry that the prices of our rarer stuff will make you cry.
I brought four sets of add-ons back from Botcon this year as I knew they would be popular, but I am sorry to report that, as volunteers get first pick of all my stock, I now have none left. I do however have several of the five-figure set (many thanks to Victorysaber from TFW2005 for securing most of the extras), and plan to sell loose sets for £180 and boxed sets for £240. If you get in quick you might even get one of my remaining Sharkticons
Like last year I have plenty of combiners, Dinobots, Omnibots, American figures (particularly Swoops, Shockwaves and Devastators in a wide range of colours), Headmasters, Targetmasters, Japanese figures like Deathsaurus, Victory Leo and Sky Garry, European figures like Overlord (possibly two Overlords all going well) and 1991 Action Masters, a smattering of Micromaster teams and bases and a wide range of Pretenders and G2 figures that nobody seemed particularly interested in last year but I will hopefully shift this time aro- I mean highly popular and coveted Pretenders and G2 figures.
We've also got multiple sets of carded Rescue Force and 90s Classics Constructicons in all their non-combining glory courtesy of Matt 'Blueshift' Marshall, and this year we're even branching out into Beast Wars! Japanese Beast Wars figures are some of the few items that are still affordable on Yahoo auctions since the yen hit the roof during the recession, so I'll have a smattering of Beast Wars 2 figures and giftsets.
We'll also have the usual selection of random stuff found in random auctions, like Beast Wars kabaya kits, Robo-q remote controlled robots and Transformers 2010 (as in the 1986 post-movie line) beach balls. Really. Beach balls.
Of course there will also be a random assortment of modern figures donated by Toy-fu supporters trying to make room for all the Botcon toys they bought off me *cough* and complimentary snacks and drinks for shoppers and browsers alike.
Last but not least, don't forget that all profits from Toy-fu go to the fantastic children's charity Mary's Meals, who provide free school meals for thousands of children across the developing world. Last year between the stall and Simon's gracious donating of half the Auto Assembly auction and raffle proceeds we raised £2000, which paid for a nutritious breakfast for 300 children in Malawi for a whole year! I intend to send them the same again this year, and you guys can help.
So when you're at AA2010, come on over and have a browse. Buy groovy toys and support a great cause at the same time.
