An conversely as a lapsed purchaser this preview does nothing to make me reconsider and pick up the title again.

As a regular buyer this preview has put me off the issue.
On the upside, the covers are nice - the vibrancy of the Jetfire cover reminds me of the TF UK #30-40s covers, while the other one is a nice Hearts of Steel homage.
Anyone else looking forward to the Drift mini? At least we'll have, y'know, actual robots in it.

Oh, the covers are excellent, but I've just learned that Mike Costa's writing is not for me. Other Transformers comics are available.
I'm passing on the Drift mini. Don't care about the character and I'm not of a fan of the work of the writer and artist and I've had to reduce my comics budget quite a bit so I'm only picking up stuff that really interests me. But I hope those looking forward to it like it.

The covers are indeed nice. Preview is cack-handed to say the least. Why do the comics gods punish Guido so. Aside from a few pages of Wreckers and Hearts of Steel he never gets a good comic to draw. Next convention he is at we all should give him a hug.

This is a very poor choice of preview to be sure, but don't despair as it picks up a lot from page 6 onwards and is almost - dare I say it - fun. In a nutshell the Autobots have to keep up the pretence that Skywatch isn't using Transformers to battle the Combaticons, so they have to battle in vehicle mode without Transforming.
