An early shot of the Autobots from Seibertron.com. I thought the blue femmebot was Chromia at first.

I'm really getting to like the look of this, now I know it's not leaning so much towards the movie aesthetic as I thought. Hooray!

Quite liking the look of Soundwave actually, they seem to have decided to run a sort of bat-aesthetic through him - to the extent that his vehicle mode actually feels like it could be a batmobile.
Not so sure about the Starscream - the vehicle mode looks like he has had bits snipped off in one place to have the metal stapled on in other, less sensible places.

The general asthetic does nothing for me, but that says little for the quality of the show. I don't like the Beast Machines asthetic but the show was interesting enough that I still enjoyed it anyway. I will say though that I applaud the very different approach for Soundwave. Very strange thing, though not quite as strange as his little-remembered Beast Wars incarnation : www.tfu.info/2000/Mutant/Soundwave/soundwave.htm. Starscream looks more interesting than previous versions, granted, though I hope the brief promo bio does not point towards the same tired shtick for any fellow with his name yet again. I remain in the 'not bothered' camp for Prime, though I admit that is mostly down to not feeling terribly enthused about TF media output at the moment and a general post-AA feeling of TF burn-out. Maybe I'll get excited when clips and the like start doing the rounds. -Ralph

I'm trying, but I still can't get into that style... Hopefully the stories will make up for that for me.
