Picked up #3 this weekend, despite the fact that I have these issues in Collected Comics format. This is probably my favourite issue of this series so far - I love Will Simpson's art on UK#49, his rendition of Slag is tremendous. If that wasn't enough to sell me, under the same thick, shiny cover we have Barry Kitson on UK#50 - good rousing artwork to go along with a great conclusion to the story (I have a great fondness for Soundwave's dignified "neener neener neenet" speech at the end of the issue).

I too have been weak and been picking up the series. I can't help it, the pull of nostalgia is overwhelming. It's Dinobot Hunt, damn it. I remember buying these issues back in the day. Feels like last week.
Kitson's art is amazing. Fortunate enough to have 3 pages of art from #50: the opening page, the 'Bumblebee' page and the 'Prowl' page.

The only original TF comic art I have is from a story I have never read. There's some kind of irony in that I suspect. Karl

I bought #1 and #2 recentley and am very pleased with the quality of the reprint. It's great to re-live the memories of the Dinobot Hunt again.

Owning the original issues and the Collected Comics you'd think I'd not bother picking the series up but I have. It's weekly serial origins shine through in the retelling, even collected with two tales apiece. A golden age in Transformers comics with such wildly contrasting art styles sitting alongside each other and not looking out of place. Both Will Simpson and Barry Kitson bring an energy to the work, Simpson's looks a little more unfettered than Kitson whose work seems more measured.
Top notch stuff.

#4 has a surprise appearance of the annual story Victory. Presumably the last issue will be bumper sized with parts 2-4 of In the National Interest.

Nope.
It's apparently a six issue mini so we'll get two parts in each.

So what will fill up the second half of #6? Grimlock does New York?

No idea to be honest. If they were doing Victory you would have thought Second Generation Part Three would have been a sensible choice.

#5 does indeed have parts 2-3 of ITNI. Tension mildy mounts as to what will fill the back half of #6.

Who knows maybe they will squeeze in Grudge Match?

That would please me.
In a rare spurt of completism, I have managed to snag the B & W Nick covers for #1-5 as they came out and FPG had them in. They do make a nice set.

That is more than a little odd. I can't see much logic behind it, I can only assume that the ball has been somewhat fumbled there. Karl

Indeed. I'm a little surprised that they haven't got another story reprint lined up for next month, even if it wasn't Dinobots.
I'm glad that the ball was fumbled on a reprint line, rather than a major title.

From: tfarchive.com/comics/idw/guide.php?s=dinobots'Publisher solicitation: This final issue featuring 32 full pages of story and art concludes the DINOBOTS tale spun by Simon Furman and Will Simpson, along with a bonus standalone Dinos tale—a repeat performance of “Repeat Performance,” a much-loved tale by Bob Budiansky, William Johnson, and Kyle Baker. This ad-free issue also features an all-new cover image by Josh Burcham.' -Ralph

That's a bit silly, I thought the point of Best of UK Dinobots was to reprint UK stories.

Well, they did forget to reprint Repeat Performance in their earlier Generations run (or were unable, in which case starting with Warrior School was a bit weird).
But surely it'd make more sense to reprint Grudge Match?
