I had mine on the train back as well as yesterday, coming out of it now. Work will divert me.

I'm glad I don't have work to divert me until Friday. I don't think I'd be able to concentrate on my job properly until I've fully got over AA2010.

I don't think I have the blues any worse than I usually do on when going back to work on a Monday. Certainly I didn't feel any more down yesterday than I would normally have done on a Sunday.
If there were any specifically post-AA blues (other than those played by the good Mr Chalk upon his guitar on Saturday night) then they must have struck on Monday when I was too shell-shocked and sleep-deprived to be aware of them..

Oh, they hit early and they hit hard for me - I was ready to stick my head in the toilet when I got to my room on Sunday night. It really helped that I decided to swing by the hotel when going to the train station on Monday morning and there were a few guys left hanging around, it turned cold turkey into a gentler attrition. I was still a bit of a state for all of Monday, though - I didn't touch any of my new figures until Tuesday. I'm coming out of it now. Work helps.

Less the blues with me, more feeling utterly and totally knackered!
Feeling recovered today though!

My blues have manifested themselves with physical illness. I've been feeling like crap since sunday evening, and the last two days I've been flu'd up to all hell; pissing sweat, burning up yet also having violent shivvers, etc. I was in bed yesterday at about half six pm, and didn't get a wink all night. Like Chris, I haven't really touched any of the stuff I bought either. Read all the fanzines, but the toys are all still in my overnight bag. The only thing I tend to keep going back to is my tribute pic for Scott McNeil that he signed with the message "You SO Rock!!!".

Played about with SG Cyclonus this morning but couldn't muster up the enthusiasm to open anything else. I did, however, find PCC Huffer in Argos in a strange bout of retail therapy which I immediately regretted as I need to go into emergency spending restrictions right now due to Real Life shit.
Been looking through the various posts, pics and vids online about AA to ease the pain. AA was a great respite but I can feel the shittyness of reality starting to creep back in.

Aw, bless you all!
When and where's the next convention? Scotcon? I know you're waiting for Nickos regards Scotcon. Hey, Mrs Shockers has always expressed a desire to see Edinburger! Wonder if I could convince her!

Wonder if I could convince her! Well for me, the next convention (unless I win the lottery, and go to Botcon) will be Auto Assembly next August

I am gutted after seeing all the aftermath/chat/toys that happened/were accumulated. I can gar-on-tee that AA11 will be my priority for next year.

It'll hit you all hardest tomorrow when you turn up at the hotel again to find no Transformers convention and no teenage girls wearing cardboard boxes and aluminium foil.

Hey folks. I have to admit to a lingering feeling of melancholy following AA myself. Possibly because I'm 3000 miles from home in an enclosed community in a barmy country with weird and arbitrary rules that you could get dismembered for breaking. Oh, and I only have one pair of trousers.
