Nick is going to TRU Jeddah on Thursday? What is the state of Transformers in Saudi? Make your guess!

Is there any difficulty obtaining Sausages in Saudi?

It's gotta be Phil from an parallel universe, who has crossed over to find parallel reality TFs to review. Such is his Hunger! AAARRRGH!

I vote row upon row of 2007 Movie Robot Replicas. At double RRP. And Nick will eventually break and buy them all

I could just imagine Nick if TRUJ turned out to be the dumping ground for old toys and there were rows upon rows of twenty year old Transformers. "What do I buy for myself? What do I buy for Toy-Fu? How can I get it all home?"

I was already at the Sarafi mall in Jeddah- pickings were rich but quality was through the floor. A surprising number of transforming robots- one place had a wide selection of Roadbots all very cheap (let me know if there's anyone you're after, folks) while another had a full set of random own-make figures. There were some Animated KOs that were almost as expensive as the discounted real figures in Toys'r'us back in Glasgow- I found voyager Starscream and Bulkhead on huge cards for R40 (about £7) but the paint looked well dodgy particularly on the faces.
I think Sarafi mall is rather down-market by Saudi standards so the prevalence of KOs is perhaps not surprising. Toys'r'us relies too much on its relationships with manufacturers to stock a lot of KOs so there should be better pickings. The bus leaves on Thursday morning. What will I find?

I saw there are a slew of these doing the rounds carded at the mo Thanks Paul

The supermarket across the road has a smattering of toys- a KO of the Jungle Fury Megazord is part of a big pallet display by the checkouts. It looks about full size and it comes in a rigid, transparent plastic box.

And I'm not talking about some kind of 'Best of' album!
