Will Nick find local language Transformers comics? If so, Turn and Burn need them!

I have found Arabic Spider-man comics in the supermarket. They look like the old Euro TF catalogues- with English and Arabic in the same balloon, presumably with an abridged version of the original dialogue.

After a long phone conversation with the taxi driver's brother who spoke English and after him hanging up, calling the store to find out where it was, then calling his brother (our driver) back with directions we were off to Toys'r'us! Apparently the only source of genuine toys of any description in the whole of Jeddah.
First impressions were good- the store was clean, brightly lit and packed to the rafters with stock. I think the reason for that was that we (me an an American TMNT fan called Phil) were pretty much the only people there apart from the staff. The electronics department was really small and the toy shelves ran a lot higher than in the UK. They had random toy lines I'd never seen before, like whole end-caps full of Planet 51 toys and Powerpuff Girls figures & playsets. So what about the TF selection?
It was shit.
An entire shelf of Ratchet arm blasters from the first film at 10 quid each, a load of Burning Fallens at 30 quid each with considerable dust buildup, and a load of the Minicons 10 packs from Home Bargains at 17 quid each. Round the corner I found 3 Animated Blackarachnias at 13 quid each, some Robot Heroes (mostly Inferno vs Tigatron) for something mad like 12 quid and a whole bunch of the novelty crap from the first film like the carabiners.
I bought the Mini-cons. I felt I had to.
Not one set of Lego anywhere. A whole aisle of Best-lock though.

Is your pal Phil on any of the TMNT Forums? He could also start a Saudi Sightings thread £12 for the Tigatron VS Inferno RH set is silly. £13 for the Blackarachnia is pretty good tho. ===KEN

I'll ask him.
Is Animated BA worth something now? I remember stores couldn't shift her about 18 months ago.

But it is now off the shelf, prices tend to go wonky when that happens. Even Universe galvatron is climbing in price a little. Admittedly the classics all seem to do that.
I'm not sure about Animated though. Quick ebay look shows they go for about £10 as Blueshift suggested.

Nick tried to distract me with pictures of culture today, but what caught my eye was his hitherto secret picture of the KO Star Saber he found and neglected to mention to us!
