Usually, I hate intrusive "Easter Eggs" in Transformers. But seeing as a lot of them in Last Stand of the Wreckers are to do with Marvel UK, suddenly I like them.
For fun, let's list all of the little in-references that James and Nick put into Last Stand of the Wreckers. And, one day, hopefully they can share the really obscure ones that we might have missed. (Unless they put 'em all in the collected edition).
I'll start, if I may.
POVA... I racked (or wrecked) my brains over this one. But I don't think it's a TF reference at all. Since the retelling of what happened at Pova had differing points of view, I think it's just that. Point Of View. Maybe. Am I warm?

I think James has confirmed that one over at IDW, yes.

In the final issue we had extracts from Datalog 332 (don't think I need to explain that one to anyone here). Impactors profile which makes mention of a "freelance peacekeeping agent" says to see Datalog 151 - #151 being the final part of Legacy of Unicron which saw Death's Head "leaping through an exploding time Portal". Datalog 151 is also titled "The Wreckers and the Crossroads of Time" - The Crossroads of time was the title of the Doctor Who comic story where Death's head had a run in with the Seventh Doctor.

A couple of visual nods off the top of my head... In issue one Nick draws a random 'Predator' which looks awfully similar to Animated Starscream, and in issue three he draws another which looks awfully similar to Armada Starscream. Both are coloured almost entirely grey.

There's also one that I think Martin pointed out a while ago where a mention is given to T'MUK. Members of this forum don't need this to be explained.

Couple more spotted in #5:
In the flashback where the Autobot atrocities are being listed, one of them is "Klo - Desecration of Corpses". Klo was the planet where the Decepticons were defeated in the final issue of the original comic.
At the end Verity is sitting in a place called "Mister O's <somethingorother>". Mr O's was in US#4 too.

There was also Elpasos on the monitor screens.
I think that was the planet Death's Head met with Blot in TFUK #133?

The number 332 gets a name-check in #5.

I bet most of these things went straight over the heads of our American cousins when they read the series.

I've got one (but, I must confess, only 'cos it was pointed out to me): In #2 Ironfist mentions buying the Sky-Sled that Impactor used to rescue Xaaron. During the flashback at the start of #4, we can see it in his workshop. Look closely at it. Compare and contrast with the Sky-Sled Hot Rod uses in Fell on Black Days from the 2001 Transforce anthology: Booyah. Mx

I enjoyed the references, especially as so many were UK references. There were a few things I didn't recognise but guessed they were TMUK (which I don't really know) so appreciated them anyway. The guest appreances of Marvel UK Decepticons were very welcome, but I think my favourite in-jokes were the Ladybird namechecks.

I've finished re-reading Bullets for my website, and I noticed that 3 things in the story are number 113:
The Pova Wrecekrs:Declassified Data-file The Inquiry Room on Kimia The double Agent's code name (Agent 113) ((On a related note, Agent 113 is Punch/Counterpunch, right?))
what does 113 mean in Transformers, since otherwise this is a weird coincidence

I believe it's the issue number for Death's Head's first appearance. (Wanted: Galvatron Dead or Alive Part 1.)

In Nick's Coda story, Grimlock also has 113 files documenting cases of insubordination as well. Unrelated to TF, but something which felt quite apt, at least in terms of Wreckers and Bullets, is that the word 'victim' appears 113 times in the Bible. Apparently.

I'm with Nigel on this one. It would seem plausible for Nick to reference something to do with the Marvel UK issues as he has done several times before.

Is 113 the number of the people on the internet who never complain about their hobby?

So, if only James knows the secret of 113 maybe the answer lies within the pages of Eugenesis. Everybody who has a copy - get it out and try and find any kind of vague references to 113!

If you've seen as much Roche/Roberts Slash on the Internet as I have, then you'll know exactly what "113" refers to.
