Some good storytelling there Pete.
Some constructive tips about the lettering. I'd do it in inkscape or GIMP (both free programs) if you don't have access to photoshop or illustrator as it will avoid the pixellation that you have on the lettering. A common thing in photo-comics but is always something I find detracts from the quality of them.

Actually...I do have photoshop 7.0 ... I just keep forgetting that I can do the lettering there...I'll try that out as I translate chapter 1 into English!  Thanks for the tips! Pete |

I notice that you have also done a bit of photoshopping with the elbow and knee joints on the human figures. Personally, I would have left them as they are even if they do look a little unsightly because you haven't quite used the right skin tone for the figures and in the first picture it looks like the girls legs are glowing!

Yeah - I know. Maybe you're right about leaving them as they are... it works great when the sun is shining and the skin tone looks good... the problem is that I don't like them "the way they are" - that is to say - the seems and joints on a humanoid figure look a bit..bleh... I just need to work on the skin tone... I dunno... In any event - I've now decided to just throw these up in English forever. Doing comics in two languages is really really exhausting and I hate translating myself because I think in English, then have to translate myself into Polish...and then I end up having to translate my bad Polish back into english which really diminishes the written work. So future eps will be only english. And I just need to work on photoshoping skills to get the humanoids' skin tones done better But I do actually have a huuuuuuuuuuuge story arc mapped out for this! I'm having waaaaaaaaaay too much fun making this! Two more out-of-order pages... But since the original Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was also shown out of order - I consider this to be the Special Hub Exclusive! After all - I'm showing it in-order on my website (which is why the website only features chapter 1...since chapter 2 is WIP) ... but ...whatever...here are two more pages from chapter 2! I'm thinking of prefacing this chapter with that one poem by ...was it William Blake who wrote "The Albatros" ? Although - this might be a pelicun? I get these birds confused... anyways - I've also discovered how to make speech bubbles thanks to photoshop. Amazing how much a fellow can learn after using the same program for 4 years...   Pete |
