Looks terrific, but I'm not certain I understand it either. It reads as if it refers to some story I haven't read to do with monkeys and their gods - as if it's a nod/homage to some other work.
It could be that it _doesn't_ refer to anything outside itself, in which case it _does_ make sense as a standalone, but seems a bit random.
But, yeah, looks terrific!

People didn't get the plot? It's Dreadwind going mental with guilt and paranoia after killing Apeface , it's not complicated or anything. It's bloody great though!

It doesn't refer to anything outside itself, it is just a story about Dreadwind being paranoid - OR IS HE? I like to hint at stuff that happens before/after stories, but I think that makes people have the automatic reaction of 'OH GOD IT IS IN SOME SORT OF CONTINUITY, IT IS TOO COMPLEX' It was a very old script though, and could have been tightened up, but the art had already been drawn. Such is life! (The last panel drawing asked for Dreadwind looking all scared, he looks to be shouting though in the final frame! No-one's commented on that though, so its all good!)

^ You could view it that Dreadwind is screaming. That way, when coupled with the dialogue about how the monkeys scream and scream it makes it clear that the monkeys are in his head. I like it, I think it's good.

I never got around to commenting on this. Enjoyed it! Though I think the zeitgeist description for it is that it's "nigh impenetrable".
