Well the simple answer is anything that you want to make it!
The idea came from some musings on Warren Ellis' website and have stayed with me for quite some time. The Broadside is one page of A4 and what you do with it is entirely up to you as the creator. The only emphasis is that it should be easy to distribute, i.e printing and photocopying so black and white is naturally a more attractive option.
It's also something that anyone should be capable of doing without resorting to massive beasts of pcs with graphics programs and the like. You can crank these things out in word/open-office or similar.
The first one is up just now and more are being done, but I'm hoping that all of you will have a bash at your own one pagers.
The masthead is here to download if you want or if you have your own cool idea then use that instead!
