These take me back to the good ol days of The Informer and Auto Update. I get that same feelgood vibe from them
Keep em coming CRB.

Really enjoyed that Karl, any chance of a longer piece?

Really enjoyed that Karl, any chance of a longer piece? On the same topic you mean? I'm not sure, although I did a bit of editing to get it down to the one-page I didn't cut a huge amount. There is some more analysis possible in that area I'd agree. I'm not sure, might go back and revisit it at some point who can say. At the moment I am mulling over another Broadside for the future on a different topic. Karl

An interesting hypothesis, Karl. While the cynic in me wants to say that the tech-specs were just another part if TFs over-whelming marketing strategy, there's no denying that I pored over the specs of the bots that I had.
But in the end I go with the cynic, although I prefer to couch my choice in less corporate terms: there was something about the way TF commanded all the senses, which is why I was sad when Prime died when I saw the movie on vhs (I didn't have a Prime at the time), and, it must be said to give the cynic his due, TF did rather throttle the competition when it came to shelf space in the way something like Ben 10 seems to now. Turtles got my attention in the same way as TF for a while when I was in Year 7 and 8, but the bedazzlement didn't last because I was that bit older: that bit closer (I thought) to giving up on toys and foolish dreams.

It was the techspecs for me, that's what gave TFs depth and character. You da man, karlos!
