I warn you all now. Anyone who claims 2086 was a Thunderbirds show will be...True Friended. Wait. Worry. -Ralph Thankfully Ralph does not have my address. Ralph, it is Thunderbirds show as it is called Thunderbirds, also it is better than the Thunderbirds puppet show. I used to be a bit mocking of it, but found it was actually an enjoyable watch! Unlike Thunderbirds!!

Go check any Anderson series guide or with Fanderson. Not a proper authorised show!
The original Thunderbirds is immense!!!

It has Thunderbirds literally written all over it and reuses many elements of the basic premise! It is Thunderbirds. It is as TB as 1980 is BSG. Just not as awesome.
Next thing you'll be claiming there was an UM figure in the G2 range!

It says Thunderbirds on it, and they weren't sued by the Anderson company.
It's Thunderbirds.
THUNDERBIRDS 2086.

Do you need a Gerry Anderson quote to accept the new Thunderbirds show, Ralph?

Next thing you'll be claiming there was an UM figure in the G2 range! I think I'm with Ralph on this, although my stand point is shaky because I haven't actually watched it properly yet. 80 is Galactica canon because it uses the same characters and setting, but does 2086 reference the original series at all? Wikipedia says it isn't considered official because it isn't an Anderson production, and as we know, wikipedia is never wrong. I don't think you could call it official just because it reuses the concept. ... Or are you all just winding Ralph up?

Do you need a Gerry Anderson quote to accept the new Thunderbirds show, Ralph? No because Sylvia Anderson is involved with it. In fact she voices Lady Penelope's aunt. And the fact it uses the same characters and designs of the original.

It was officially licensed by the company that had the official Thunderbirds license so it's official!

We aren't saying Thunderbirds 2086 is part of the canon, which is what Wikipedia has, but it's an official Thunderbirds product.
Yes there is an element of winding Ralph up, but it was officially licensed therefore it's a Thunderbirds product no matter how many people might not like it to be so.
